This NickServ is not a standard AuthServ.
Most Authserv's do not provide "nick ownership", and will never issue a /KILL or a forced nick change if you try to use a registered nick without providing the password.
This NickServ will do this. It allows you to register an account, which identifies users to ChanServ. It is only your nick. When you authenticate to NickServ, it does not care what your AuthServ account is -- only the nick you are logged on as.
AuthServ can tell you what account a user is authenticated to using the USERINFO command. Any problems with account registration or AuthServ should be directed to the normal support channel.
