A little something about the Springbok
The Springbok (Afrikaans: spring = jump; bok = antelope)[Lat.: Antidorcas marsupialis] is a small brown and white gazelle.
The Springbok also used to be a national symbol and currently is the national animal of South Africa.
Various South African sports teams adopted the Springbok as their nickname or mascot.
Most famously the national rugby team - They are still known as "The South African Springboks".
If you are into aviation, South African Airways still uses "Springbok" as their radio callsign.

But let's get to the guy known as Springbok:
Springbok (a.k.a. Alex) first joined the network as a user known by the nick Stingray. He joined GameSurge Staff in 2003 and decided, that he would use Flynn as his nick.
Due to his resignation and absence from the network his account got deleted.
Upon his return to GameSurge Staff he found Flynn taken by another user and decided to use Springbok as his new nick.
